I had a blast. My PSD didn't leave me stranded like the G&P did in the other games. Coolest of all, I turned in a pistol mag and with the wrist band/raffle ticket from the turned in item. I won a CA MP5 Sportline which will probably be up in the classifieds shortly... hehe >:D

Special thanks to Kazi for giving me a ride and putting up with my rediculous amount of kit, and thanks to efrt for letting me hang with you guys

Oh and to the guy i shot from the stairwell in the last game, if you see this, I really am sorry. it was automatic reaction, not something i meant to do

i think of it as a sport and if people want to play then let them play
new people are just another part of the game
you give them enough encouragement and they want to be better
you cant just expect someone to be great the first game
for people who take it like a video game, just let them be
this sport is like no other so take it like it is and dont wish it could be better cause this will always be

It is not that we can't admit to someone half our age shoots us. The problem is some younger players treat the sport like it is a video game. Not all, but there are some who think they look cool sporting the same gear that they see in video games. This is Mil-sim. Not paintball.

not gunna lie, attitudes like this are what made me feel uncomfortable coming to games before I had all the tactical gear and S***. Some people just want to run around and shoot people and enjoy that. Others need to spend hundreds of dollars on their gun so it looks cool and more money on like 6 different loadouts. Whatever your personal choice is I think its better to keep it to yourself, you dont know how uncomfortable it is to roll to a game where EVERYONE is in gear and you arent because you are new. Its not welcoming at all and makes you not want to even play.

But thankfully i have gear now so that doesnt happen lol but still I dont look down on people who wear w.e its all fake anyways so why does it matter. Its like the people who come to Ord games and wear multicam when no team is even supposed to have multicam.

I agree man, i remember feeling uncomfortable like that

Way i see it, if someone wants to wear something they saw in a video game then what the heck more power to you, but make sure its efficient
Looking cool is good, but dont sacrifice a rediculous amount of money or personal comfort or your own efficiency in doing so

Personally I dont care what you wear........years of reffing and hosting many games have shown me that the kids do it for fun and some older guys that take it too serisouly go home pissed

I think the best attitude to have when doing this is remember this is a game. Yes you will get hit. But be mature enough that if it was a great shot then go up shake the shooters hand, and say "Awesome shot man." But I do think you need to have a certain level of maturity so you do not end up shooting someone in the face because you did not take your mag out , and clear your rifle at the end of the game. I would like to say that a huge portion of players who go to Ord are the some of the best people on the west coast.  And I am looking forward to seeing those people this weekend and slinging plastic downrange with them.

I think those guys who pull off that pmc look from Metal Gear Solid 4 w/tan pants and black tops look pretty bad ass  ;D
I see the fun of airsoft is that you can play it in different ways: Straight up Milsim, team death matches like from video games, or CTF like paintball. They're all fun, and i like variety in the games I play.
They may look cool, but I think it boils down to what works for you. If you are comfortable in that kind of loadout then more power to you. I for one could care less who made my gear. As long as it does what I need it to do.
