i remember last year i was playing @ jasper hill and one guy had this- he was probably w/ busabos/alkdan? i was curious and he showed me how the spring can easily be replaced, and also mentioned about split gearbox. he said it was shooting consistently @ 400 stock-he seemed happy w/ it... the only thing i didn't like bout it is that the foregrip looked brittle.  if u want to have something "unique" go with it, at the same time andy is right be cautious since parts are proprietary. for me though, if u can get a used one for cheap then get it, but for bnew price i'd go w/ another manufacturer...just my .02

Maybe the version you got was complete balls. But I've read on AirsoftForum.com where people got it and were happy with it.

no, its a taiwan version of the M16.  evidently, it sucks.
it has some really good features, like 2-piece gearbox, simulated recoil, and some others as well.  unfortunately, the early versions are rumored to have plastic gears, and the pistons are said to strip really easily too (which are either a PSG-1 type, or proprietary).  the gearbox is not a standard Ver.2 either.

i would stay away.

EDIT: and no, the internals are not Guarder.  this rifle is actually made by a totally seperate (and obscure) company, with the Guarder name just slapped onto it.  also, the tappet plate is prone to breaking.  did i mention that i hear the gears are proprietary as well, and are irreplaceable after they strip?

It's just Guarder's version of an M16. It's based off the Canadian M16 I think, or something weird like that. It uses all Guarder internals.

I just came up on a Full Metal Guarder T65k2 M16 and was wondering if anyone knows if it is anygood? Ive tried to look for reviews about this gun(aeg)  but since there was very few of these made im having trouble finding any reviews or info on it, If its worth fixing up(minor hopup issues), if its compatable with of other aeg parts, and is it upgradeable. and or any other info on this gun. thanks
